30+ years ago when I first got into boating I got lucky and had a guy that didn't live too far frrom me with experience to teach me about them. New boaters or those that don't have someone around to help them are better off with a RTR boat in many cases as they have something to learn the basics with of what does what when you adjust somethinmg or need to know how these things go together. How can you say that you built it as it was already built as you stated that it was a used heat racer? One RTR gas boat worth a look at is the just re-released Aquacraft Rio 51Z now with a Zenoah under the cowling and a 2.4 Gig radio system.Īndy, get rid of those decals dude, Team Losi and helicopter decals don't get it on a boat! It needs a much lighter motor mount in it too, that thing must weight a ton. OK, I'm not really a fan of Pro Boat boats either.
I frankly don't care as they just screwed over a friend of mine about 2 days ago with their BL boats.
I'm probably going to hear it from the Venom boats guy in here but I have to tell it the way it is.
The boat has issues with it splitting at the seam and the radio box cracking.
